Adipurush Advance Booking, Box Office Day 1 Predictions: Prabhas’s Mythological Drama Set for Staggering Records

New Delhi: Filmmaker Om Raut’s upcoming magnum opus Adipurush, based on the mythological epic Ramayana is all set for its big theatrical release on June 16, 2023. The movie starring Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, Sunny Singh, Saif Ali Khan and Devadatta Nage in lead roles is skyhigh on audiences’ expectations. Looking at the crazy early trends, seems like the movie is readying to break many records including that of Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan at the Box Office on Day 1.

ADIPURUSH BOX OFFICE DAY 1 PREDICTIONS

Producer and film business expert Girish Johar told Hindustan Times, “The audience has liked the new and revised trailer. It is based on our legendary epic Ramayan. It is a family outing, I am expecting a huge opening that may be ranging between Rs 45 and Rs 50 crore (or perhaps more) for all languages combined.”

Adipurush is produced by T-Series, Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar, and Rajesh Nair of Retrophiles, Pramod and Vamsi of UV Creations. It is scheduled to release worldwide on June 16, 2023.

Zara Hatke Zara Bachke: Vicky Kaushal, Sara Ali Khan’s Film Earns Rs 37.35 Crore

MUMBAI: Actors Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan’s latest release ‘Zara Hatke Zara Bachke’ has minted Rs 37.4 crore in its first week. The movie, directed by Laxman Utekar saw a descent opening with Rs 5.49 crore, on its day 1 on June 2.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, “#ZaraHatkeZaraBachke closes Week 1 on an impressive note. Fri 5.49 cr, Sat 7.20 cr, Sun 9.90 cr, Mon 4.14 cr, Tue 3.87 cr, Wed 3.51 cr, Thu 3.24 cr. Total: a, 37.35 cr. #India biz. #Boxoffice.”

According to Adarsh the film should dominate in Week 2, till Prabhas-starrer ‘Adipurush’ hits the big screen on June 16.

Adarsh said, “The weekend biz should again witness an upward trend, hopefully it should breach the 50 cr mark by Sunday night. The numbers of #ZHZB are sure to instil hope and confidence in makers of *mid-range films* to think theatrical, instead of opting for direct-to-digital route.”

Starring Sara Ali Khan and Vicky Kaushal, the film revolves around Kapil and Somya, a happily married couple from Indore who live in a joint family and decide to get a divorce one fine day. Things don’t go as planned as their family gets to know of it, and thus begins a comedy of errors.

Adipurush’s Janaki Aka Kriti Sanon Feels ‘We Don’t Choose Movies, But Movies And Characters Choose Us’

New Delhi: Actress Kriti Sanon recently completed 9 years in Bollywood and has come a long way ever since her debut Heropanti. The gorgeous star is currently looking forward to the grand release of her massive upcoming film Adipurush where she will be seen essaying the role of Janaki.

Talking about her 9-year-long journey as an actor, and coming back to the Telugu film industry after her debut with Nenokkadine, at the Adipurush Final Trailer Launch media event held at Tirupati, Kriti Sanon said, “It is so good to be here, thank you for this warm, warm welcome. After 9 years, I think these are your blessings and love that I am standing here in front of you after 9 years. With My very very precious film, Adipurush, and my most special character, Janaki, a character that very rare actors get to do in their whole career and I was able to do in just 9 years because of your prayers, blessings and love that I am here with you today. So thank you for all the love.”

She continued, “I feel we don’t choose movies, movies and characters choose us. So we are extremely blessed that a movie like Adipurush chose us to tell this story and Janaki chose me. I feel really blessed, this is not just a film it’s much more than that. And it’s your love and blessings that we need on 16th June in theatres Jai Siya Ram.”

Meanwhile, on the work front, the actress will be next seen in Ganapath, The Crew and an untitled next with Shahid Kapoor.
