Pushpa 2: Bus Carrying Film Artistes Meets With Accident in Telangana

Hyderabad: Two persons were injured when a bus carrying film artistes who were returning to Hyderabad from neighbouring state Andhra Pradesh after shooting of ‘Pushpa 2’, met with an accident in Telangana’s Nalgonda district on Wednesday.

The bus carrying the film artistes hit a stationary RTC bus near Narketpally on Hyderabad-Vijayawada highway.

Two artistes sustained minor injuries in the accident. The artistes were returning to Hyderabad from Srikakulam district of Andhra Pradesh after completing a shooting schedule of ‘Pushpa 2’ starring Allu Arjun.

The RTC bus driver had stopped the vehicle by roadside after developing some technical problem. The driver of the bus carrying the artistes failed to notice the RTC bus and rammed into it.

The makers of the movie had last month released the first look poster of “Pushpa: The Rule”, the much-awaited sequel of ‘Pushpa: The Rise’

The makers had released the poster and a special video on the eve of Allu Arjun’s birthday.

Directed by Sukumar, the movie is likely to release in summer of 2024.

Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani Clocks 10 Years: Ayan Mukerji Shares Never-Seen-Before Moments

Ayan Mukerji’s Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani came like a fresh breath of air back in 2013. And, it has already been 10 years since the film hit the theatres. Starring actors Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Aditya Roy Kapur, and Kalki Koechlin in lead roles, the film had the perfect blend of friendship, relationships, wanderlust, teamed up with amazing music, awesome visuals, and amazingly crafted dialogues. On the special day, director Ayan Mukerji shared a note on Instagram. Ayan declared that Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani is his “second child and a piece of his heart and soul.”

On Wednesday, Ayan Mukerji shared a montage featuring a few clipping and BTS moments. The song Ilahi can be heard playing in the background. In the note, the director said that the making of Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani gave him one of the “greatest joys of his life and it is a source of great eternal pride”. Ayan added that he hasn’t watched he film from beginning to end since the day it was released. He said, “But when I’m older and wiser – I think I will watch the movie at least once a year – because a big part of who I was and how I looked at life – is forever captured in this movie!”

Ayan Mukerji also shared a director’s note. It read, “Also sharing a director’s Note I had written at the time, in my story which someone special from my team shared with me a few days ago… and it brought back all kinds of memories for me!” Replying to the post, actress Evelyn Sharma, who was part of the film, wrote, “Forever favourite.” Actor Arjit Taneja wrote, “Favourite and the Bestesttt!!”.

Kalki Koechlin, to mark the day, revealed that Deepika Padukone always used to “us a dance step we can’t follow.” For Ayan Mukerji, Kalki said, “Ayan Mukerji, will always ask us uncomfortably personal questions that lead to the best conversations loved the memories we collected here, happy 10 years guys.”

Ayan Mukerji’s last film Brahmastra was a blockbuster hit. Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan were part of the film.

Bank Of Baroda Hikes FD Rates, Now Earn Up To 7.25%

New Delhi: The interest rates on Bank of Baroda’s fixed deposits (FDs) up to Rs 2 crore have increased. After the adjustment, the general public’s FD interest rate may increase to 7.25 percent. Seniors who deposit money with the Bank of Baroda might earn up to 7.75 percent on their fixed deposits. The new rates are coming into effect today, May 12, 2023.

Bank of Baroda’s Latest Fixed Deposits (FDs) Rates For General Investors

For deposits maturing in the next 7 to 45 days, the Bank of Baroda is offering a 3 percent interest rate. A 4.5 percent interest rate will be paid on FDs that mature in 46 to 180 days. FDs maturing between 181 and 210 days will receive a 4.5 percent interest rate from the Bank of Baroda.

Fixed deposits with maturities of 211 days or fewer will receive interest at a rate of 5.75 percent. On Fixe Deposits with maturities between one and two years, the bank will pay an interest rate of 6.75 percent.

On FD tenures of more than two years and up to three years, the bank will provide an interest rate of 7.05 percent. Prior to this period, a 6.75 percent interest rate was offered. On FDs with maturities between three and ten years, the bank offers an interest rate of 6.5 percent.

Bank of Baroda’s Highest FD Rate

The highest interest rate, 7.25 percent, is offered by the Bank of Baroda on the special deposit referred to as the Baroda Tiranga Plus Deposit Scheme for a term of 399 days.

Bank of Baroda’s Latest Fixed Deposits (FDs) Rates For Senior Citizens

The bank gives elderly citizens an interest rate of 3.5 percent on deposits with maturities between 7 and 45 days. A 5 percent interest rate will be paid on FDs that mature in a period of 46 to 180 days.

Interest will be paid on deposits that mature in a period of 181 to 210 days at a rate of 5.75 percent. On deposits maturing in 211 days or fewer, seniors will get interest at a rate of 6.25 percent. On fixed deposits with maturities between one and two years, senior adults are eligible for an interest rate of 7.25 percent.

On deposits with a maturity of two years or longer, the bank will give an interest rate of 7.55 percent. Previously, a 7.25 percent interest rate was available for this term. The bank offers 7.15 percent interest on FDs maturing in three to five years and 7.55 percent interest on FDs maturing in five years or more.

Bank of Baroda gives the highest interest rate of 7.75 percent on the special deposit known as the Baroda Tiranga Plus Deposit Scheme for a duration of 399 days.
