Bombay HC Quashes 2006 Case Against Mika Singh For Allegedly Kissing Rakhi Sawant

Mumbai: Bombay High Court on Thursday quashed the FIR and chargesheet which was registered in 2006 against singer Mika Singh for allegedly kissing actor Rakhi Sawant forcibly.

The FIR and chargesheet have been quashed with Rakhi Sawant’s consent. High Court ordered quashing the FIR after Rakhi’s lawyer didn’t oppose the plea. The FIR was registered after Mika was accused of allegedly grabbing and forcibly kissing Rakhi at a party at a restaurant in the Mumbai suburbs. Mika was charged under Sections 354 (molestation) and 323 (assault) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

Mika, in April this year, moved the High Court to quash the FIR and subsequent chargesheet filed by the police.

The High Court on Thursday perused the affidavit submitted by Rakhi which stated that she and Mika had amicably resolved their differences.

Sharing the details of her experience on Instagram, Pragya emphasised greatly on the immense health benefits of ice baths and the sheer magic of the experience.

In a video on her social media, Pragya Jaiswal documented her plunge into an ice bath in Finland which showed the actress going from a sauna directly into an icy opening in a lake in the middle of Finland’s snow.

Robbery at Shilpa Shetty’s Juhu Residence, Police Detain 2 Suspects

MUMBAI: Mumbai police have detained two persons in connection with a theft at Bollywood actor Shilpa Shetty’s home here, an official said on Thursday. As per PTI, some valuables were allegedly stolen from the actor’s residence in Juhu last week, the official said. Based on a complaint, a theft case was registered at Juhu police station and a probe was initiated, he said.

The probe team has detained two persons in this connection and their interrogation is on, the official added. The actor had filed a complaint at the police station after her residence was robbed.

Meanwhile, the actor is currently in Italy along with her entire family where she recently celebrated her birthday on June 8. She has been sharing stunning pictures and snippets on social media from her vacation in Tuscany.

The 48-year-old actress made her comeback to the silver screen in 2021 by starring in Hungama 2. She was also seen in Nikamma. According to India Today, Shilpa Shetty will also feature in Rohit Shetty’s OTT debut web-series, The Indian Police Force. The show also stars Vivek Oberoi and Sidharth Malhotra in vital roles.

New Delhi: Ace choreographer and actor Prabhudeva and his wife Himani Singh are blessed with a baby girl. The proud father at 50 confirmed the development and told ETimes about how excited he is. “I have already cut down on my workload. I felt I was doing too much work, just running around… I am done with that. I want to spend some time with my family and my daughter,” he said.

Prabhudheva got married to Himani Singh in 2020. The famous choreographer was earlier married to Ramlath and together they have three sons – Vishal, Rishi Raghavendra Deva and Adith Deva. However, Vishal passed away in 2008 and later in 2010, Prabhudheva and Ramlath got divorced.

On the work front, Prabhudheva has been honoured with 2 National Film Awards for Best Choreography in his illustrious carer spanning over 30 years. He was awarded the Padma Shri for his contributions to dance in 2019. He was last seen in Bagheera, a Tamil psychological romantic thriller film written and directed by Adhik Ravichandran. The film was released theatrically on March 3, 2023. He also has a movie titled ‘Flashback’ in the pipeline which is yet to be released.

Prabhudheva’s next big movie is titled Petta Rap, which is directed by SJ Sinu and produced by Jobi P Sam.
