Alia Bhatt is one of the most loved actresses in Bollywood. The Student of the Year actress, who is all set to make her Hollywood debut with the film Heart Of Stone, has reached Sao Paulo, Brazil. Alia will be taking part in Netflix Tudum 2023 event in Sao Paulo, as one of the cast members of the film Heart Of Stone. The event will take place from June 16 to 18. The 30-year-old actress is all excited about the event and has posted an adorable picture of herself.

In her latest Instagram post, Alia is seen wearing a multi-coloured cropped sweater with cute little hearts all over it. She has kept her hair open and is seen smiling in the pic.

Robbery at Shilpa Shetty’s Juhu Residence, Police Detain 2 Suspects

MUMBAI: Mumbai police have detained two persons in connection with a theft at Bollywood actor Shilpa Shetty’s home here, an official said on Thursday. As per PTI, some valuables were allegedly stolen from the actor’s residence in Juhu last week, the official said. Based on a complaint, a theft case was registered at Juhu police station and a probe was initiated, he said.

The probe team has detained two persons in this connection and their interrogation is on, the official added. The actor had filed a complaint at the police station after her residence was robbed.

Meanwhile, the actor is currently in Italy along with her entire family where she recently celebrated her birthday on June 8. She has been sharing stunning pictures and snippets on social media from her vacation in Tuscany.

The 48-year-old actress made her comeback to the silver screen in 2021 by starring in Hungama 2. She was also seen in Nikamma. According to India Today, Shilpa Shetty will also feature in Rohit Shetty’s OTT debut web-series, The Indian Police Force. The show also stars Vivek Oberoi and Sidharth Malhotra in vital roles.

New Delhi: The first official trailer of Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Avneet Kaur’s Tiku Weds Sheru’ was released by the makers on Wednesday (June 14). The trailer features some steamy chemistry between the lead pair – Nawazuddin and Avneet, which has sparked a massive backlash online. ‘Tiku Weds Sheru’ is billed as a tale of two eccentric, starry eyed characters, who want to make it big in Bollywood. Nawazuddin (Sheru), plays a struggling actor in Mumbai, who gets married to Avneet (Tiku), who dreams of moving out of Bhopal and find a footing in ‘The City Of Dreams’ Mumbai. The trailer shows a liplock scene between Nawazuddin and Avneet which has shocked netizens, owing to the 27-year age gap between them.

Soon after the trailer was dropped by the makers, netizens began questioning the huge gap between the lead pair and their casting as lovers in the film. A few also criticised for adding a kiss scene between the actors and trolled Kangana for it.

TIKU WEDS SHERU TRAILER

A user wrote, “Can’t defend Nawaz anymore. Bahut ho gaya outsider outsider.”

Another one said, “Gross also what is up with Nawaaz’s movie choices?”

“This is just nasty, Avneet was probably 20 when the shooting of this movie started, she is also highly sexualised in the trailer,” wrote a third user.

Avneet Kaur will be making her debut in Bollywood with the film.

Speaking of the film, ‘Tiku Weds Sheru’ is an upcoming romantic-drama and a dark satire film, directed by Sai Kabir and produced by Kangana Ranaut under the banner of Manikarnika Films. The film also stars Zakir Hussain and Vipin Sharma in key roles. The film is scheduled to premiere on June 23, 2023 on Amazon Prime Video in India and across 240 countries and territories worldwide.

IRRFAN KHAN WAS THE FIRST CHOICE AS MALE LEAD

Producer Kangana recently disclosed that said she and Irrfan Khan were initially supposed to star in the upcoming comedy-drama ‘Tiku Weds Sheru’. She said the project was previously titled ‘Divine Lovers’. “This is very special. This film was launched before. Initially, Irrfan sahab and I were supposed to do this film. It must be about six-seven years ago. You all came for its launch event and the name of the film then was ‘Divine Lovers’,” the actor-producer told reporters here.

“When he came to me after many years, so a big problem was that Irrfan Sahab was nowhere around us and that demotivated us. The second problem was that we needed the Kangana of 10 years ago, the Kangana who had the dream of big city in her eyes, the Kangana who was hoping to be a part of Bollywood. I also said ‘Let it be Kabir, this is not going to work now’,” she recalled. The actor said she then pitched the movie to Aparna Purohit, head of India originals at streaming service Prime Video, who “lapped it up”.

The shoot of the film will begin by the end of this year.” It will be made on a massive scale, with some never seen before high-octane visuals. With state-of-the-art equipment, techniques and effects implemented, the magnum opus is being undertaken by the largest team of qualified professionals from across the world who are ferociously working under the direction of Nitesh Tiwari. A grand VFX team, the biggest cast, and mega sets are being created to build the world of Ramayana.

Zara Hatke Zara Bachke: Vicky Kaushal, Sara Ali Khan’s Film Earns Rs 37.35 Crore

MUMBAI: Actors Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan’s latest release ‘Zara Hatke Zara Bachke’ has minted Rs 37.4 crore in its first week. The movie, directed by Laxman Utekar saw a descent opening with Rs 5.49 crore, on its day 1 on June 2.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, “#ZaraHatkeZaraBachke closes Week 1 on an impressive note. Fri 5.49 cr, Sat 7.20 cr, Sun 9.90 cr, Mon 4.14 cr, Tue 3.87 cr, Wed 3.51 cr, Thu 3.24 cr. Total: a, 37.35 cr. #India biz. #Boxoffice.”

According to Adarsh the film should dominate in Week 2, till Prabhas-starrer ‘Adipurush’ hits the big screen on June 16.

Adarsh said, “The weekend biz should again witness an upward trend, hopefully it should breach the 50 cr mark by Sunday night. The numbers of #ZHZB are sure to instil hope and confidence in makers of *mid-range films* to think theatrical, instead of opting for direct-to-digital route.”

Starring Sara Ali Khan and Vicky Kaushal, the film revolves around Kapil and Somya, a happily married couple from Indore who live in a joint family and decide to get a divorce one fine day. Things don’t go as planned as their family gets to know of it, and thus begins a comedy of errors.
